Compensation:

$17+ Donutchew Rio is looking for friendly, reliable, and motivated team members to join our shop. This is not a "stand in one spot all day" kind of job. Our team helps with a little bit of everything. Serving customers, making drinks, preparing donuts, glazing and decorating, restocking, cleaning, and keeping the shop running smoothly. You'll be part of a small cafe and donut shop team where every person matters. Some days you may be helping customers at the register, some days you may be making drinks, and some days you may be helping with donut production in the back. We're looking for people who enjoy staying busy, learning new skills, and taking pride in their work. No café or bakery experience is required. We will train the right person. What You'll Do Help customers and create a welcoming shop experience Take orders and process payments accurately Prepare drinks, including coffee, espresso drinks, matcha, tea, and other menu beverages Learn specialty coffee barista skills, including espresso basics, milk steaming, matcha, tea, and drink standards Assist with donut production, including making donuts, glazing, topping, decorating, and packaging Follow shop recipes, portioning standards, and quality standards Help with prep work, including toppings, glazes, drink prep, ingredient prep, and restocking Keep the shop clean, organized, and ready for service Clean the front counter, dining area, kitchen, bathroom, and storage areas Wash dishes, clean equipment, wipe counters, sweep, mop, and take out trash as needed Restock cups, lids, napkins, boxes, bags, ingredients, milk, syrups, and other supplies Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures Help with opening, closing, and shift-change tasks Communicate with managers about low inventory, customer issues, equipment problems, or schedule concerns Support your coworkers during busy periods and jump in where needed Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, positive, and willing to learn. You do not need to know everything on day one, but you do need to care about doing good work. A strong fit for this role is someone who: Is reliable, punctual, and responsible Is friendly with customers and respectful to coworkers Can stay productive without constant supervision Notices what needs to be done and takes initiative Is comfortable helping with both front-of-house and back-of-house tasks Is willing to learn donut making, glazing, topping, decorating, and packaging Is willing to help with prep, cleaning, restocking, and daily shop operations Can follow recipes, portioning standards, and food safety procedures Can work in a fast-paced environment while keeping a good attitude Can stand for extended periods Can lift and carry light to moderate supplies Is available to work weekends and/or holidays as needed Food service, cafe, bakery, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required. Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older due to job duties involving FOH, BOH, donut production, prep, cleaning tasks, equipment use, opening/closing responsibilities, and working without constant supervision.

Availability / Commitment

This is a long-term position . We are looking for candidates who can commit to at least 9 months of consistent work. This is not a short-term, temporary, or seasonal role . Applicants should have consistent availability and be interested in growing with the team.
