Job Description
Delmarva Native Plants was founded based on a desire to create change in the environmental horticulture industry. We believe as horticulturists it is our role to help protect and preserve the native flora of the Mid-Atlantic. Our plants are grown for everything from small-scale home landscapes up through large scale habitat restoration projects. We specialize in large scale contract grows, but we do keep a large inventory on hand to meet all of our client's needs. We are a wholesale nursery, open to the trade. We are seeking someone to join our team as a sales associate. Work will be both indoors and outdoors year round in all weather conditions. This job entails walking and lifting 50 lbs or more on a regular basis and a tolerance for working in summer heat and winter cold. The ideal candidate will assist in taking customer orders online or over the phone. They will also work outdoors to facilitate preparing plants for shipment and assisting customers pick up their orders. Candidates should be organized, with a good background in plants, or a desire to learn more. We are a team that is close knit and share a passion for expanding the availability of native plants for habitat restoration projects and conservation landscaping.
