Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Jewelry Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while assisting customers with jewelry purchases, taking custom orders, performing basic watch battery replacements, and supporting the daily operations of the store. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a professional and welcoming manner. Sell fine jewelry, watches, gifts, and accessories. Educate customers on products, gemstones, metals, warranties, and care. Process custom jewelry orders, repairs, engraving requests, and special orders accurately. Replace watch batteries and perform other basic watch services. Handle customer pickups, repairs, and special-order communications. Operate the point-of-sale system, process payments. Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries. Maintain clean, organized, and attractive merchandise displays. Help maintain store security by following company procedures for handling jewelry and valuables. Assist with opening and closing store procedures. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products related to lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and floral design. Provide expert plant identification and horticultural advice to help customers make informed decisions. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for cash handling, sales transactions. Maintain organized shelves through stocking, merchandising, and ensuring product displays are attractive and accessible. Communicate effectively with customers. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the sales floor to provide a welcoming shopping environment. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers. Basic retail math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing stock levels effectively. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and cashiering is preferred. Excellent organizational skills to manage stocking duties and maintain an orderly sales environment.
