Job Description
Overview We are seeking knowledgeable and enthusiastic Budtenders to join us at our New Eldersburg Location . As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers in selecting the right cannabis products for their needs. Your expertise and passion for the cannabis industry will help create a welcoming environment for all. Please note, initial interviews may be held at our Baltimore location (1114 Cathedral St, Baltimore, MD 21201). Duties Greet and assist customers with product selection, providing detailed information about various cannabis strains and products. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately, ensuring compliance with all cash handling procedures. Maintain an organized and clean sales area, including restocking shelves and displaying products attractively. Utilize retail math skills. Communicate effectively with customers, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when addressing inquiries. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and promote additional products. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer questions, concerns, and feedback promptly. Stay informed about industry trends, product knowledge, and compliance regulations to ensure accurate information is provided. Experience Previous experience in retail or customer service is required; experience in a dispensary or similar environment is a plus. Familiarity with cash registers and Point of Sale (POS) systems is essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers. Basic math skills are required for handling transactions. A genuine interest in cannabis products and the ability to educate customers about their benefits is highly valued.
