Job Description
Bath Industrial Sales is looking for a Cashier / Sales Floor Associate to join our team in West Bath. This position is a mix of running the register, helping customers, and keeping the store looking full, clean, and easy to shop. We are looking for someone friendly, dependable, and willing to jump in wherever needed. Main Responsibilities Run the cash register and process customer transactions Greet customers and assist with basic questions or purchases Learn our store systems, products, departments, and services Stock shelves and keep product displays organized Help with general merchandising, pricing, facing shelves, and keeping aisles clean Support the sales floor during slower register times Assist with occasional tasks around the store as needed Qualifications Friendly, positive attitude Dependable and willing to stay busy during downtime Customer service or retail experience preferred Basic knowledge of tools, construction, hardware, trades, or blue-collar industries is a plus Ability to learn new systems and processes Strong communication skills Team player who is comfortable helping in different areas of the store Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 50 lbs and safely use ladders or step ladders as needed for stocking, merchandising, and general store tasks Schedule This is a full-time position. Employees are scheduled based on store needs and a variety of factors.
