Job Overview We are urgently seeking a skilled, enthusiastic, and responsible Experienced Cannabis Budtender to join our team immediately. In this role, you will be the face of our dispensary, providing outstanding customer service, ensuring flawless regulatory compliance, and maintaining a welcoming, professional atmosphere. Your deep expertise in cannabis products will be crucial in guiding consumers, driving sales, and helping lead our day-to-day retail operations.
Key Responsibilities Customer Experience:
Greet and assist guests with a friendly, professional, and educational approach.
Product Expertise:
Provide comprehensive information regarding our diverse product menu, including flower strains, concentrates, edibles, topicals, and accessories.
Compliance & Point of Sale:
Accurately process transactions using our POS system while ensuring strict adherence to state cannabis regulations.
Inventory & Retail Math:
Perform retail math calculations for inventory tracking, cash drawer reconciliation, and sales metrics. Keep shelves meticulously restocked and organized.
Leadership Support:
Help supervise junior staff to ensure company policies, cleanliness standards, and compliance protocols are met consistently.
Education:
Conduct product demonstrations and share insights into new arrivals, brands, and promotions.
Qualifications & Requirements Credentials:
Must possess a valid Maine Individual Identification Card (IIC) .
Age:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Experience:
Proven experience in cannabis retail sales or a fast-paced, high-volume customer-facing role.
Skills:
Exceptional communication skills, proficiency with industry POS software, and strong basic retail math capabilities.
