Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Budtender, where you will be the friendly face and knowledgeable guide for our customers seeking cannabis products. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a welcoming environment, ensuring each guest receives personalized service and accurate product recommendations. As a key ambassador for our brand, you will educate customers on product effects, usage, and safety, fostering trust and loyalty. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic industry while making a positive impact on our community. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences and needs, including conducting product demos when appropriate Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, cash handling, daily cash outs and inventory updates Educate customers about product effects, consumption methods, and safety guidelines to promote responsible use Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock replenishment to keep the store well-stocked and inviting Upsell products by highlighting new arrivals or complementary items to maximize sales opportunities Uphold compliance with all state regulations regarding cannabis sales and age restrictions Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers Support store operations through basic retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and inventory management Complete tasks assigned by Manager that help the productivity of the storefront Help maintain a clean storefront and employee spaces Qualifications Previous retail sales experience, preferably in grocery stores or similar customer-focused environments Previous experience in the cannabis industry Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership and team collaboration skills Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product details clearly and confidently Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure smooth transactions Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and retail math principles for effective store management Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills necessary for cash register operations, daily cash drops and inventory calculations Embark on a rewarding career where your energy and expertise help shape memorable experiences for our customers.
