Job Description
Gift Shop Sales Associate Are you ready to make an impact and bring joy to customers through thoughtful gifts? We are actively seeking an energetic and dedicated Sales Associate to join our team at Berry Vines. 247 Main St, Machias, ME 04654 Part-time
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Delivering exceptional customer service and guiding customers to find the perfect gifts
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting shop environment
- Accurately handling transactions and managing the cash register
- Assisting with inventory management and keeping shelves stocked
- Assisting floral designers with daily tasks, with the opportunity to learn floral design skills and contribute creatively to arrangements and displays
- Collaborating with team members to elevate the shopping experience
What We Require:
- Prior retail experience is a plus, but we value a strong attitude and willingness to learn
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently and with a team
- Self-starter with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- A genuine passion for gifts, home décor, and delivering top-notch service
