Job Description
Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Cannabis Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, guiding customers through their product choices, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your expertise in cannabis products and retail sales will contribute to the success of our dispensary. This Job is part-time every Friday, with full days, Saturday and Sundays. Duties Assist customers in selecting cannabis products based on their needs and preferences. Provide product demonstrations and educate customers about various strains, consumption methods, and effects. Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of products through effective merchandising. Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring compliance with cash handling policies. Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems for processing sales and managing inventory. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Stock shelves and ensure that the product inventory is well-maintained and rotated. Supervise junior staff members as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment. Uphold exceptional phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or concerns. Maintain compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is required; experience in a grocery store setting is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers. Ability to handle cash responsibly and accurately. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse clientele. Experience with merchandising and stocking practices is preferred. Supervising experience is beneficial for those looking to take on leadership roles within the team.
