Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier/Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will drive memorable shopping experiences. We are seeking a local individual interested in working part-time as needed to fill in for available open shifts. Most shifts will be weekend days, with the potential to expand to weekdays in the future as we grow. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and managing various payment methods with precision Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending additional items to enhance their shopping experience Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette and in person, ensuring every guest feels valued Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and assisting with store layout adjustments as needed Requirements Prior experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is strongly preferred Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and basic math for handling transactions accurately Demonstrated cashiering skills including cash drawer handling, cash handling procedures, and retail math proficiency Ability to provide exceptional customer service with professionalism, patience, and a positive attitude Knowledge of antique industry preferred, but not mandatory Weekend availability Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels our success!
