Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Budtender to join our dynamic retail team. As a vital member of our store, you will provide expert guidance on our wide range of cannabis products, ensuring customers have an engaging and informed shopping experience. Your enthusiasm, product knowledge, and exceptional communication skills will help foster a welcoming environment where customers feel confident in their selections. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs, providing detailed product demos when appropriate Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all store products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories, to answer questions confidently Operate POS systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to maximize customer satisfaction and store sales Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure an appealing and well-maintained retail environment Conduct product demos and educate customers on proper usage, effects, and safety guidelines Manage retail store operations such as merchandising, inventory stocking, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments preferred; familiarity with POS systems is a plus Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service via phone etiquette and in person Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively Knowledge of retail math for transactions, stock management, and cash handling procedures Experience with merchandising, product demos, and upselling techniques to enhance sales performance Ability to handle cash register operations accurately while maintaining a friendly demeanor during busy periods Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced retail setting!
