Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Budtender to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, educate customers about our products, and ensure a positive shopping experience. This role requires a strong understanding of cannabis products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. The Budtender will be responsible for assisting customers with product selection, managing transactions, and maintaining the sales floor. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding product options and effects Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties Conduct product demos and educate customers on product features and benefits Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Assist with inventory including stock replenishment and stock rotation Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations regarding cannabis sales Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, concerns, and feedback professionally Support promotional activities such as product demos and special events Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment Qualifications Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in Cannabis Industry, if not will train for 1-2 weeks Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively Proficiency with POS systems and basic retail math for transactions and inventory counts Excellent phone etiquette for customer inquiries and follow-up calls Ability to perform upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and retail operations best practices Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude Join our team to deliver outstanding service while working in a dynamic industry.
