Counter / Warehouse Associate Medler Electric Company, proudly serving Michigan for over 108 years, is built on a solid foundation of exceptional customer service and deep product knowledge . As an employee-owned electrical wholesale distributor with 15 locations across the state , we support a wide range of customers, including contractors, maintenance and repair operations, manufacturers, and institutions. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Counter / Warehouse Associate for our Bad Axe location. This is a key role that blends customer service with operational support. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers at the sales counter by providing knowledgeable support and accurate order processing Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and availability Fulfill and process customer orders accurately and efficiently Support warehouse functions such as receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping Maintain organized inventory and help manage stock levels Ensure a clean, safe, and productive work environment Other general warehouse and facility tasks as needed

Requirements:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team setting Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency Capable of lifting/moving up to 50 lbs without restrictions Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and climb throughout the workday Previous experience in electrical distribution, warehousing, or retail counter sales is a plus
