As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients in selecting the right cannabis products for their needs. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment for customers, ensuring they have an informative and enjoyable experience. Responsibilities Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. Educate customers about various cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods. Operate the point of sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently. Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with inventory management. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase new items and educate customers. Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding cannabis sales. Maintain a clean and organized retail space, including displays and storage areas. Provide excellent customer service through effective communication and phone etiquette. Supervise junior staff members as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment. Requirements Proven experience in customer service or retail sales, preferably in the cannabis industry. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash register operations. Familiarity with POS systems and retail sales processes. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of cannabis products, including strains, effects, and consumption methods is preferred but not required; training will be provided. A passion for helping others and promoting responsible cannabis use.
