Sales Professional

Overview We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while driving sales and promoting our products. Your ability to upsell and manage stock effectively will contribute significantly to the overall success of our retail environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs to provide personalized assistance. Demonstrate product knowledge and effectively communicate features and benefits to customers. Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately, handling transactions efficiently. Maintain an organized stock area, ensuring products are well-displayed and replenished as needed. Supervise junior sales staff when necessary, providing guidance and support in achieving sales goals. Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain a positive shopping experience. Qualifications Proven experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash register operations. Familiarity with stock management processes and inventory control is advantageous.
