Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and retail math calculations to ensure smooth checkout experiences. Maintain organized merchandise displays through effective merchandising and stocking practices to attract customer attention and maximize sales. Support store organization by managing inventory levels, restocking shelves, and conducting stock audits. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about product features, e-commerce options, and store policies in multiple languages if applicable. Promote store promotions and seasonal offerings while ensuring a clean, welcoming shopping environment that encourages repeat visits. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for gardening, floral design, or landscaping is highly valued. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Knowledge of horticulture principles, plant identification techniques, lawn care practices, and landscape maintenance will help you provide expert guidance to customers. Strong communication skills in English are essential; multilingual abilities are a plus for connecting with diverse clientele.
