Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Budtender, where you'll be the friendly face guiding customers through their cannabis journey. In this energetic role, you'll provide expert product knowledge, deliver exceptional customer service, and create a welcoming environment for all visitors. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help customers find the right products to meet their needs while ensuring compliance with all regulations. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their preferences and needs Educate customers on product effects, usage methods, and safety guidelines through engaging product demos Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management Maintain accurate inventory levels by stocking shelves, merchandising products, and conducting regular stock checks Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations regarding cannabis sales and recordkeeping Provide exceptional customer service via in-person interactions and phone etiquette, addressing questions promptly and professionally Skills Proven experience with POS systems and retail sales transactions Supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail environment preferred Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively Strong phone etiquette and communication skills for engaging with customers remotely or in-store Knowledge of retail store product merchandising, stocking, and inventory management Basic math skills for handling cash register operations, retail math calculations, and cash drawer balancing Experience with grocery store or retail sales environments is advantageous Familiarity with cannabis or similar retail products enhances customer guidance skills This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within a vibrant industry while providing top-tier service.
