Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, sales, and creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Responsibilities
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions
- Maintain and restock inventory on the sales floor
- Assist customers in finding products and provide product demonstrations when necessary
- Utilize effective communication skills to engage with customers and address inquiries
- Perform basic math functions for cash handling and inventory management
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries
- Supervise store operations in the absence of management
- Apply retail math concepts to calculate discounts, pricing, and sales metrics Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting
