Job Description

Looking for a beautiful place to work? Join the team at Michigan Falls LLC, where we operate the Lower Tahquamenon Falls Café & Gift Shop. We offer unique souvenirs, a welcoming café, and rowboat rentals on the scenic Tahquamenon River. We're looking for friendly, customer-focused Boat Attendants who enjoy working outdoors and helping guests create lasting memories during their visit to Tahquamenon Falls. Must be able to work weekends Responsibilities Assist guests in the rental of boats; safely help load and unload guests from boats Responsible for setting up signs and maps at the beginning of each day Ensure that boats are clean Ensure that boats are properly stowed and cleaned in the boathouse at the end of day Provide timely, courteous, and professional service to all guests Follow all health and safety standards, policies, and initiatives Requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment and in proximity of other people Must be able to carry up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Frequent bending, twisting, lifting, and squatting will be required. Always maintain a positive and upbeat attitude to ensure an excellent guest experience. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
Education & Experience Experience:
One (1) year of Customer Service experience preferred Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status and all other status protected by law.
