Overnight Store Associate- Night Shift (Convenience Store)

Overview We are seeking dependable team members to join our overnight shift at a busy convenience store! As an essential part of our overnight crew, you'll ensure the store runs smoothly during the night hours, manage stock and merchandising, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, including product demos and upselling opportunities to enhance sales. Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and receipts. Stock shelves, organize and ensure proper signage for easy product identification. Conduct inventory checks, restock supplies, and manage merchandising displays to attract customer attention. Maintain store cleanliness, safety protocols, and adhere to security procedures during overnight hours. Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about store or services with excellent phone etiquettes. Qualifications Previous retail sales experience preferred; familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership responsibilities during shifts. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a nice-to-have to assist diverse customers. Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and retail math accuracy. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette.
