Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic Bakery and Cafe Sales Associate, capable of providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and beverage, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall success of our bakery. Responsibilities Assist in the presentation of baked goods, ensuring high quality and freshness. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions and manage cash handling accurately. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections. Accurately deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to customers' tables. Perform merchandising duties to display products attractively and effectively promote sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Experience Previous experience in a retail or restaurant environment is preferred, though not required. Familiarity with basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing customer interaction within diverse communities.
