Starting at $24/hour , plus KPI and goal-based bonus opportunities Position Summary BC Brands is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Associate to support retail partner growth through consistent communication, account support, data analysis, and daily sales outreach. This is an in-house, five-day-per-week role designed for someone who is comfortable working the phones, analyzing sales and inventory data, and helping retail partners make smarter decisions that drive sell-through. The Sales Associate acts as a trusted resource for retail partners by supporting product visibility, promotional execution, reorders, merchandising opportunities, and account-level growth strategies. The ideal candidate is organized, coachable, analytical, and highly consistent with follow-up. Key Responsibilities Account Management & Retail Partner Support Maintain consistent communication with retail partners to support account growth, product education, and reorder opportunities. Advise retail partners on strategies to improve product visibility, merchandising impact, and customer engagement. Monitor store-level sales data and inventory trends to proactively recommend restocks, promotional adjustments, and product reorders. Conduct partnership program audits to identify opportunities for improved execution, merchandising, and sell-through support. Collaborate with store owners, managers, and internal teams to help execute sales and marketing initiatives. Support seasonal campaigns, co-branded promotions, and retail activations that drive revenue growth and brand presence. Client Relationship Management Develop a strong understanding of each retail partner's operations, inventory needs, product mix, and local market dynamics. Use platforms such as LeafLink, Pistil, Outfield CRM, and Google Sheets to identify sales opportunities and support account planning. Analyze cross-platform sales data to support SKU recommendations, inventory forecasting, reorder timing, and promotional strategy. Help retail partners make informed business decisions around product selection, pricing, merchandising, and sell-through performance. Gather client feedback and communicate market insights to internal sales, marketing, distribution, accounting, and leadership teams. Support retail partners in using available tools, reporting, and performance insights to improve operational efficiency. Revenue Growth & Sales Execution Execute account-level growth plans that align merchandising, promotions, product strategy, and sales targets. Use client feedback, sales analytics, and market data to identify opportunities to improve sales velocity and customer retention. Work closely with internal teams to ensure growth strategies are aligned with brand standards and company objectives. Track progress toward goals and KPIs, maintaining consistent activity and follow-up to drive measurable results. Identify new opportunities within existing accounts, including product expansion, menu improvements, promotional support, and reorder cadence. Communication & Internal Collaboration Serve as a communication link between retail partners and BC Brands' accounting, distribution, marketing, and leadership teams. Collaborate with marketing to support campaigns that align with client needs and brand objectives. Participate in internal strategy sessions to review account progress, market opportunities, and company-wide sales priorities. Maintain accurate notes, reports, and account updates within company systems. Communicate clearly, professionally, and consistently with both external partners and internal team members. Required Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old in accordance with cannabis industry regulations. 2+ years of sales, account management, customer service, or related experience. Cannabis industry experience is strongly preferred. Existing dispensary relationships or an established book of contacts is highly preferred. Strong understanding of cannabis products, retail operations, market trends, and compliance expectations is a plus. Experience in retail or wholesale sales, especially within a regulated industry, is preferred. Ability to analyze sales data, review reports, and identify trends that support strategic decision-making. Comfortable using CRM platforms, spreadsheets, and sales tools to manage accounts and track performance. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Reliable follow-up habits and the ability to manage multiple accounts, tasks, and deadlines.
