Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs Educate customers on product effects, usage, and safety through engaging product demos and clear communication Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and sales processing Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product visibility Conduct inventory checks, stock replenishment, and assist with merchandising to optimize sales opportunities Upsell products by highlighting new or complementary items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing support remotely Ensure compliance with all regulations related to retail sales of cannabis products and maintain accurate transaction records Qualifications Prior experience in the Cannabis Industry Prior retail sales experience, preferably in grocery stores or similar environments involving customer interaction Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in team settings Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively Strong communication skills with an emphasis on clear, friendly interactions and active listening Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, POS operations, and retail math calculations and weights. Knowledge of merchandising techniques and inventory management practices Familiarity with phone etiquette and providing excellent customer service over the phone or in person Ability to perform cashiering duties accurately while maintaining a professional demeanor Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Understanding of grocery store operations or similar retail environments is advantageous This role is perfect for energetic individuals eager to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting while making a positive impact on customers' wellness journeys.
