Store Manager - New Store Opening | Albert Lea, MNOverview Get ready to be part of an exciting new chapter! We are thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of a brand-new Ross Dress for Less in Albert Lea, MN . This isn't just another store—we're bringing something entirely new to the community, and we're looking for a leader who is energized by that. As Store Manager, you will build the team, set the standard, and lead the execution that brings our store to life from day one. Your leadership will shape the customer experience, drive results, and establish us as a go-to destination in the market. This role is built for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, leads from the front, and is excited to create something meaningful from the ground up. What You'll Do Lead the new store opening , including setup, merchandising, truck execution, and store layout Own all aspects of store operations, ensuring strong execution of company standards and best practices Build and develop a high-performing leadership team and store staff Drive sales and profitability through effective scheduling, payroll management, and operational discipline Ensure fast, efficient merchandise flow from stockroom to sales floor Create a clean, organized, easy-to-shop environment that reflects Ross standards Deliver an exceptional customer experience by coaching teams and leading by example Maintain a safe, secure, and compliant store environment What You Bring 5+ years of experience as a Store Manager in a mid-box department store OR 5+ years as an Assistant Store Manager in a high-volume big-box department store Proven ability to lead from the front and build strong, accountable teams Strong operational expertise: payroll, merchandising, inventory control, and retail fundamentals Track record of driving results in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and execute with urgency High energy, strong presence, and a passion for creating a winning culture Why This Role is Different Lead a brand-new store opening and build your team from the ground up Make an immediate impact in a community that's excited for something new Join a growing, stable Fortune 500 company with real career growth Run a high-volume business where your leadership truly drives success Additional Information Relocation assistance is not available Posting closes: July 20, 2026 DISCLAIMER This job description is a summary of the primary duties and responsibilities of the job and position. $65,328.00 - $77,958.00 per year
