Pro Shop Clerk

Are you friendly & outgoing and know the game of golf? Do you enjoy keeping busy and getting your steps in for the day? We are currently looking for a part-time seasonal pro shop clerk for our afternoon/evening shift (1:00 pm-approximately sunset). You MUST be able to work through October and preferably come back next season to start in April. You must be able to work weekends. We need someone who can be somewhat flexible on number of shifts per week depending on time of year. This summer, you would be training and covering some shifts while other employees are on vacation. Starting in mid August you would get more hours once our current staff starts school.

Responsibilities:

Greeting guests professionally, answering phones, and managing inquiries. Scheduling tee times, checking in players, and handling cash/credit card transactions. Keeping the shop clean, restocking snacks, beverages, and range balls, and organizing displays. Keeping carts organized and clean, putting carts away at the end of the day Light cleaning and closing of the pro shop.

Qualifications:

Excellent customer service skills and friendly personality are a necessity! Knowledge of the game of golf is preferred. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Some knowledge of computers and ability to learn our point-of-sale and tee time reservation systems. Must be able to walk and be on your feet for extended periods. This position requires to you stand for the majority of your shift, as well as doing quite a bit of walking to put carts away. Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
