Whether assisting with product demos or managing transactions, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting tobacco products, accessories, and related merchandise Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase new items and enhance customer interest Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract attention and promote featured products Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring inventory levels are maintained and products are easily accessible Upsell complementary items to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or taking orders remotely Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and replenishment to ensure product availability Experience Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or specialty shop environment Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership and team coordination skills Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure smooth transactions Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies Basic math skills for retail math calculations such as change-making and inventory counts Knowledge of customer service best practices, including phone etiquette and conflict resolution skills Join us at 's Tobacco Shop where your energy fuels our success!
