We are seeking a customer-focused, dependable, and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate. This position will primarily support Northwoods Confections and Gifts, with opportunities to assist Duluth Kitchen Company and Goat Hill World Market based on scheduling and business needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, works well in different retail environments, and can adapt to changing priorities. You will assist with customer service, merchandising, freight, store presentation, and daily operations while helping create a welcoming environment for customers and coworkers. We believe how we work matters just as much as what we do. We treat teammates and customers with respect, communicate clearly, and take ownership of our work. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Essential Functions Responsibilities include:

Delivering friendly, attentive customer service Supporting customers and daily store operations at Northwoods Assisting at DKC and GH as scheduled and needed Processing incoming freight promptly and efficiently Completing daily operational tasks according to store priorities Assisting with visual merchandising and maintaining presentation standards Remaining calm and solution-focused during busy periods and unexpected situations Maintaining clean, safe, organized, and welcoming sales-floor and stockroom areas Collaborating effectively with team members across all three locations Completing other responsibilities as needed Qualifications Previous customer service experience is preferred Previous point-of-sale (POS) experience is preferred but not required Previous retail or visual-merchandising experience is preferred but not required Daytime, evening, and weekend availability Willingness and ability to work at Northwoods, DKC, and GH as needed Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week Must be at least 18 years old Skills and Abilities Customer-first mindset Dependable and adaptable in a fast-paced environment Able to work independently and collaboratively Strong organization and attention to detail Effective problem-solving and multitasking skills Basic computer and internet proficiency Basic math and cash-handling skills Flexibility to support different responsibilities and store locations Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to bend, reach, and carry merchandise frequently Ability to safely perform stockroom, freight, and sales-floor responsibilities
