Specifically, the Store related responsibilities involve marketing, profitability and sales, reporting inventory, ordering, resale pricing and merchandising, customer service, safety and maintenance.
The Warehouse primary responsibilities include:
sales, verifying inventory, warehouse responsibilities, customer load out and other duties. The Store - Warehouse Attendant will maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork and a favorable image of the company. Essential Functions/Principal Accountabilities of the Store Attendant 1. Marketing, Sales, Resale Pricing & Merchandising a. Work to achieve the store profitability and sales goals identified in the annual budget b. Increase market share through retail sales efforts in the store c. Assist with in-store events d. Be proficient in merchandising and sale of equipment 2. Inventory and Warehouse a. Avoid inventory shrinkage due to broken bags and improper product handling procedures b. Manage inventories to avoid becoming obsolete c. Checks expiration dates on all inventory d. Verify rotation of inventory by expiration date on a weekly basis e. Maintenance i. Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly store, restrooms and warehouse. Equipment is kept in good repair and appearance. ii. Assist in maintaining proper merchandise spacing and in keeping products and shelving clean g. Avoid bag breakage due to careless operation of fork lift 3. Customer Service a. Provide prompt and courteous customer service and appropriately handle all claims and complaints b. present products to customers on an educational basis c. Counter work includes addressing customers in a friendly manner, Point of Sales activity, invoicing and product load out d. Look for opportunities for add-on sales with customers (suggestive selling) e. Wear a clean, neat company uniform at all times 4. Office Operation a. Answer phones and write up customer orders b. Direct phone calls to appropriate staff c. Filing of daily invoices 5. HACCP & Feed Safety Compliance a. Assist with the new FSMA Veterinary Feed Directive Rules (VFD) and communications b. Work with supervisor and compliance personnel to ensure store facilities and equipment meet all federal, state, HACCP, OSHA regulations and company policies 6. Other Duties a. Abides and upholds all company policies b. Enforce and uphold the company's credit policy i. charge sales must be signed ii. do not charge to customers on COD iii. do not extend credit to customers who haven't been approved by the credit manager iiii. keep all personal accounts current c. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Working Relationships:
The Store - Warehouse Attendant interacts regularly and appropriately collaborates with all levels of personnel at Munson Lakes Nutrition. Specifically, this role must have effective, daily contact with store staff, outside sale staff and the management of Munson Lakes Nutrition.

a. A high school education or GED equivalent 2.

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
