Join Our Team as a Tree Sales Associate This Spring!
Are you passionate about trees, landscaping, and helping customers create beautiful outdoor spaces? We're looking for a Tree Sales Associate to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with trees, loves interacting with customers, and is eager to help others create their perfect backyard or orchard.
As an seasonal position will are seeking candidates that are able to work 20-40 hours a week and are available on weekends! Common shifts are 7a-11a, 11a-4p & 4p-close.
Assist customers in finding the perfect tree for their needs, providing product recommendations and expert advice.
Keep the store and yard neat and organized, ensuring that safety policies are followed at all times.
Process sales, including cashiering, entering orders into the POS system, and managing deliveries if needed.
Deliver an exceptional customer experience that inspires customers to return.
Ensure accurate pricing and proper signage for all tree and evergreen products.
Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and tree care to offer valuable advice to customers.
Work well independently, resolve problems quickly, and collaborate with your team to meet sales goals.
Previous retail experience, especially with plants or landscaping, is preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems and the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Strong communication skills and the ability to upsell products.
Motivated, confident, and friendly when engaging with customers.
Attention to detail and a passion for gardening and outdoor spaces.
Candidates must be 16 years of age. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods of time and work in various weather conditions.
Flexibility to work weekends and other peak times during the busy Spring season.
