Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a weed lovin', groovy vibin' part-time budtender to join our Flower Shop team in Luverne! In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, educate clients about our cannabis products, and ensure smooth retail operations. Your energy and knowledge will directly contribute to a positive shopping experience and create customer loyalty! This position will be, mostly, weekend and night shifts. Please only apply if you have availability for both! Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage to enhance their experience and safety Maintain accurate stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and conducting inventory counts regularly Upsell complementary products and promote ongoing promotions to maximize sales opportunities Ensure compliance with all regulations related to cannabis sales, including verifying customer identification and age restrictions Handle customer inquiries via phone with professional etiquette, providing clear information about products and store policies Requirements Prior experience with retail sales and customer service is preferred Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions Excellent customer service skills is a plus Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer service aptitude Knowledge of retail store product merchandising, stock management, and basic math skills for daily operations Experience in cannabis or related industries is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential Ability to work part-time hours flexibly while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm Join our Flower Shop team!
