Duties Provide personalized customer service by listening to customer needs and recommending suitable products based on their preferences and experience levels Conduct product demonstrations and explain product features to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management Upsell products by highlighting new arrivals, promotions, or complementary items to maximize sales opportunities Maintain stock levels by stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and organizing inventory efficiently Ensure compliance with all store policies regarding ID verification, age restrictions, and legal regulations Assist with product demos and educate customers on proper usage of various cannabis products while maintaining professional phone etiquette when answering inquiries Requirements Previous retail sales experience, preferably in grocery or specialty retail environments such as dispensaries or stores with similar product offerings Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions and balancing cash drawers Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail setting is preferred Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn through training sessions; experience with product demos is advantageous Excellent customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and sales techniques including upselling strategies Ability to handle stock management tasks such as stocking shelves and merchandising displays efficiently Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately; familiarity with retail store product knowledge is essential Previous retail experience is beneficial but not mandatory; a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn are key Embark on an exciting journey in the retail cannabis industry where your energy fuels memorable customer experiences!
