Job Description
Description The Wellness Center Attendant is responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of equipment, preparing for classes and appointments, interacting with members, processing memberships, and proving information on memberships, programs, classes, and events.
Includes:
Advising customers in rules of the Wellness Center, to promote a safe, open and welcoming environment. Provides tours to new members to explain the fitness center operations, including sign up/checking in, entrance locations, towel usage, cleaning equipment, etc. Cleaning and maintaining the Wellness Center and equipment to make sure the facility meets cleanliness standards and is visually appealing. RequirementsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous customer service experience preferred.CREDENTIALS
(License, certification, registration): Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire or within 6 months.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Tact and courtesy in dealing with customers. Ability to converse with members on a regular basis. Ability to work under limited supervision and show initiative. Basic knowledge of various exercise equipment. Skill in computer operation, including Excel and Word.EMPLOYMENT VARIABLES
Part-time position, mostly evening hours and some weekends. 0.3FTE - 12 hours a week.Benefits
