Store Sales Associate We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Store Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist with sales, product demonstrations, and merchandising while maintaining a well-organized and stocked retail environment. This job will start off as a part-time position, but advancement to full-time may be considered based on performance. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting products that meet their needs. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Perform product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Upsell products by effectively communicating their value to customers. Maintain an organized sales floor through effective merchandising and stocking practices. Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or taking orders over the phone. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies. Foster a positive shopping environment through effective communication skills and customer service. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Experience with cashiering and cash handling procedures is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also taking initiative when needed.
