Job Description

Electrical Team Lead (FAT)
Job Overview:
This Team Lead position will be responsible for developing and delivering actions in support of overall department goals. In addition to functioning as the subject matter expert for their respective team, the Team Lead is also responsible for maintaining quality and production levels, and training/developing associates and driving process improvement.

Job Functions:
Managing health and safety - Maintain safe work environment, constantly strive to improve 5S and safety. Improving quality through standardization, updating/improving work instructions, process inspection, and confirmation of daily quality checks. Human resource development of Leaders & Associates through hands-on training. Management/improvement of production hours and line stop times. Improvement of machine uptime through TPM activities. Promoting kaizen activity - Constantly identifying and implementing improvements (safety, quality, cost, and delivery). Creating a teamwork atmosphere through excellent communication and respect for people. Visualization of daily management KPI's to find and drive opportunities for improvement. Daily management - Confirm countermeasures for defects/problems, production management, and manage project schedules. Lead problem solving activity as necessary Function as subject matter expert (SME) for area of responsibility

Preferred Skills:
Results-driven, able to identify problem/improvement opportunities through the use of visual management tools, such as weak point management, pareto diagrams, and other TPS tools. Exceptional people skills - ability to motivate and inspire Subject matter expert in relevant area of responsibility 3+ years of Leadership experience (or comparable experience) in a high production, fast-paced manufacturing environment Basic computer skills (Excel, Word)Minimum High School or GED diploma
