Plumb Supply Company is looking for a dependable person with a great attitude, attention to detail, and a team player to join their Mexico, MO team. This is a full-time position working 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as required.
Responsibilities:
Consult with customers both in person and over the phone to analyze current and future needs to determine the most appropriate level of service/sales Demonstrate comprehensive company product knowledge to customers and effectively articulate the company's competitive advantage. Load and unload trucks using dollies, dolly carts, forklifts, and other tools as needed Provide customer service by answering questions, placing, picking, and loading customer orders Unload, inspect, store, and shift incoming stock General warehouse duties assigned Maintain a clean and organized work environment Local deliveries to customer's shops or job sites
Qualifications:
Effective verbal and written communication skills Forklift experience a plus Demonstrate an ability to create a positive work environment Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment Attention to detail Must obtain a Class E driver's license within 30 days of hire Must pass pre-employment testing (drug screen, background check, and driving record check) This position is designated as a Flex Position within the union bargaining unit and is subject to the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement. $23.00 / hour
