Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Retail Store Lead supports the Store Manager in day-to-day operations of the store. The Lead is responsible for daily direction and training of associates on processes and service to ensure the best guest experience. They will drive sales and assist guests on the floor, maintain merchandising standards, and act as a cashier/sales associate throughout shift.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Expresses and models BIG behaviors in all guest and associate interactions Acts as manager on duty in absence of Manager/Assistant Manager Set direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive to work Handles guest concerns and issues as they arise Processes transactions, opening and closing procedures in an efficient and accurate manner Stays up to date & communicates product knowledge to team so they can give accurate and beneficial information to guests Stays up to date & communicates resort-wide knowledge to share with guests in a confident and fun manner Demonstrates knowledge and insight regarding inventory levels, customer feedback and product requests and can suggest alternate options Ensures self and associates are maintaining a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout the store at all times Maintains food & sundries items to ensure they are in date and proper procedures are followed Execute ordering processes (YellowDog, retail transfer requests) Work closely with Retail Leadership to communicate store needs and guest requests Maintain high level of inventory integrity through correct processes, cycle counts, and annual inventory
ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Degree Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent 1 year of retail/sales experience preferred Prior leadership experience preferred
