Position Summary Riverside Wellness is seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and customer-focused Cannabis Care Associates who are also willing and able to assist with cannabis delivery driving. This role combines in-store customer care with safe, compliant delivery services to ensure an exceptional experience for both in-store and delivery customers. This position requires a warm, outgoing individual who is passionate about customer service, cannabis education, compliance, and teamwork. While prior cannabis experience is preferred, we value strong retail experience, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence above all. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional, compassionate customer service Guide customers through their cannabis purchasing journey Answer customer questions and address concerns professionally Meet and exceed sales goals Ensure compliance in all transactions Verify proper documentation and customer identification Enter and update customer information accurately in the point-of-sale system Manage in-store, online, and delivery orders Maintain cleanliness and organization of products and displays Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned Cash Handling & POS Responsibilities Accurately process cash, debit, and electronic payments in compliance with company procedures Maintain accurate cash drawers and balances throughout each shift Follow established cash-handling protocols to prevent shortages, overages, and errors Immediately report and document cash discrepancies per company policy Secure cash and sensitive financial information at all times Demonstrate attention to detail and accountability when handling customer transactions Delivery Driving Responsibilities Safely and securely deliver cannabis products to customers in accordance with all federal, state, and company regulations Verify customer identification and required documentation at the time of delivery Maintain accurate delivery manifests and documentation Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules Ensure secure transport of cannabis products at all times Communicate professionally with customers and store leadership during deliveries Report delivery issues, delays, or concerns promptly Compliance & Operations Strictly adhere to HIPAA policies and procedures Follow all federal, state, and local cannabis regulations Maintain accurate sales and inventory records Assist management with daily store operations Perform administrative tasks as needed Physical duties may include lifting, moving inventory, and equipment up to 50 pounds Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 21 years of age Afternoon, evening, and weekend availability Retail experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment Ability to build positive, long-lasting customer relationships In-depth knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods (or willingness to learn) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle for cannabis deliveries Must possess a valid state ID Must pass all required background checks Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Must possess or obtain a Missouri Agent ID prior to beginning employment
