full-time Museum of BBQ is now hiring for a part-time team member to join our staff! We're looking for someone that can work Monday through Thursday and we have hours for the right person. What is the Museum of BBQ? The Museum of BBQ is an immersive, colorful environment that encourages you to play while you learn about the elements and regions of American barbecue.

https://museumofbbq.co/ Where is Museum of BBQ? MoBBQ is located on the second floor of Crown Center, in Kansas City, MO. What are the shifts? We need help Monday through Thursday. We're open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. We will also have hours available on the weekends or at night for events.

Overview:

The retail sales associates will be responsible for interacting with our guests to help them check in for their experience and to check out any guests that want to make a purchase from the retail store. Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): Perform all day-to-day tasks that are on the position checklist Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume Perform side work and other duties as needed Develop positive and professional relationships with store team- Follow MoBBQ operational policies and procedures

Follow MoBBQ Dress Code and Personal Appearance Policy Requirements:

Ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in retail or hospitality work Must have reliable transportation to and from work Must be able to work Monday through Thursday Must be able to use touch sensitive POS Ability to work as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

Constant standing and walking Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds independently and safely Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps, etc. Constant computer, point-of-sale register, and found equipment usage Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotation of the wrist and spine Constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances Museum of BBQ® is an equal opportunity employer.
