Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Sales Associate and become the friendly face of our retail environment! In this energetic role, you will deliver exceptional customer service while efficiently processing transactions and assisting customers with their shopping needs. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and boosts sales. Whether engaging customers with product demos or managing stock, you'll play a vital part in ensuring our store runs smoothly and efficiently. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to enhance their shopping experience Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for Cash or Check only Manage cash handling procedures with precision, including balancing registers at shift end Assist customers with product inquiries, upselling opportunities, and product demonstrations to maximize sales Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts Support inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing stockroom areas Uphold excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Requirements Previous retail sales experience, especially in Thrift store environments, is highly preferred Proficiency with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and transactions Strong communication skills to engage effectively with diverse customers and team members Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, lifting light weights, and standing for extended periods Knowledge of Thrift store operations, customer service standards, and retail math principles Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering top-notch service and creating memorable shopping experiences!
Pay:
$11.50 - $12.50 per hour
