We are looking for an out-going, self-motivated, mature (a history of staying with a job for 2 years or more) employee to assist us with retail sales and related showroom optimization and inventory management in our Dillon, MT location.

• Applicant should be personable, articulate, polite and comfortable in a face-to-face sales environment, and will be expected to appear clean and presentable during business hours. Customer service is paramount. This job involves actively selling and fitting product to customers
• including boots, hats and clothing.
• Applicant should also possess rudimentary computer skills including Microsoft Excel, and the ability to learn our inventory and web sales software (with our training). Applicant will be expected to perform basic mathematical reconciliation tasks reliably
• Honesty, hard work and ethical behavior is the cornerstone of our establishment. Applicant will be asked for references.
• An interest in and knowledge of authentic western boots, tack, and outdoor merchandise would be most helpful.

Atomic 79 sells western boots and gear on site and on the internet. Enthusiasm in this area and an affinity for these products will translate to success more quickly than starting cold. Over time, a successful salesperson will be expected to understand, distinguish and articulate the product features of various models and makers.

• Basic organization of stock, attentive customer service, re-stocking, arrangement and cleaning of the showroom will be expected as part of the job. Applicant should be willing to learn other responsibilities of the store, specifically including shipping and receiving.
• Work environment: The environment in our establishment is upbeat and fun.

We are looking for somebody who appreciates a positive environment and a good joke, and who expects to work a full day and roll with the punches with a good attitude.
