Store Associate

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Store Associate and become the heart of our retail environment! In this energetic role, you'll be the face of our store, delivering exceptional customer service while efficiently managing inventory and maintaining a clean, organized shopping space. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a welcoming atmosphere where customers feel valued and inspired. Whether assisting with product selection, stocking shelves, or handling sales transactions, your proactive approach will drive store success and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations to enhance their shopping experience Provide loving care of all store animals, including cleaning enclosures, feeding & watering, maintaining heating & lighting for all animals Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, replenishment, and organization Assist with ordering and receiving processes to ensure timely stocking of products Perform merchandising duties including product placement, packaging, and maintaining attractive displays to maximize sales potential Maintain cleanliness of the store environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring aisles are clear for safety and accessibility Support cashiering duties by processing transactions accurately using retail math principles while delivering friendly service to every customer Qualifications Previous retail experience is preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading merchandise and stocking shelves Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and store maintenance Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude Knowledge and experience with all type of animals, including exotics such as snakes, tarantulas, reptiles is a huge plus, but willing to train the right candidate Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to creating an exceptional shopping experience while developing your skills in retail operations, inventory management, and customer service!
