Duties Prepare fresh deli items by slicing meats, cheeses, and other products with precision and care Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Assist customers with their orders, offering product recommendations and upselling to enhance their experience Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols Manage cash register operations including processing cash transactions and handling cash safely Operate kitchen equipment safely for food preparation tasks while ensuring quality standards are met Support retail sales transactions by managing inventory, restocking shelves, and ensuring product freshness Requirements Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cashiering is a plus Strong knowledge of food handling, safety management, sanitation practices, and kitchen equipment operation Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers to provide outstanding service Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing Culinary or food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels our success!
