Responsibilities Operate the cash register accurately during retail sales transactions, including cash handling and balancing the cash drawer at shift end Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product information and demos Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities Maintain knowledge of store products and merchandising standards to assist customers effectively Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor is clean and inviting Use POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions and inventory management Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or customer calls Assist in product demos to educate customers about features and benefits of items Support supervising team members when needed by providing guidance on cashier procedures and customer service standards Experience Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Bilingual skills are a plus to serve a diverse customer base effectively Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and cash drawer handling is advantageous Experience in supervising or leading team members is a bonus but not mandatory Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising practices, and upselling techniques will support success in this role Join us as a Cashier and become an essential part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding shopping experiences!
