Sale Associate 15 East First Street, Ocean Isle Beach, NC 28469 $12 an hour - Temporary, Part-time, Seasonal, Full-time $12 an hour - Temporary, Part-time, Seasonal, Full-time Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, a strong ability to communicate effectively, and the energy to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, providing exceptional service, and creating a welcoming shopping atmosphere. This role requires individuals who are active, energetic, and comfortable standing for extended periods. You will assist customers with purchases, maintain inventory, fold and organize clothing, and ensure the store remains clean, neat, and visually appealing. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by stocking merchandise and arranging displays Fold clothes neatly and restock items as needed Keep the store clean and organized, including tidying fitting rooms and sales areas Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations within the store Remain active and energetic throughout the shift. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with customers and build relationships. Basic knowledge of retail math for handling transactions. Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
