Position Summary:
The Welcome Center Representative plays a vital role in shaping the member and guest experience. This individual serves as the face of the Y—greeting, engaging, and supporting all who enter our doors. The role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • Current certification in Red Cross First Aid and Adult CPR/AED (available through the Y)
  • Strong computer and communication skills
  • Ability to work a consistent schedule, including all assigned shifts regardless of weather
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Commitment to inclusion and ADA compliance
  • Outgoing, dependable, and mission-driven personality
  • Reliable transportation
