Job Description
Overview This is a seasonal position from November 15th through Sept 1st . While employment will end at the conclusion of the season, there may be opportunities to continue working with us beyond the Summer Season. We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Seasonal Associate to join our retail team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. The position offers an opportunity to develop retail skills, gain supervisory experience, and work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be energetic, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills to thrive in this role. Responsibilities Assist customers with product inquiries and provide exceptional customer service Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties Stock shelves and merchandise displays to ensure attractive and organized presentation Upsell products and promote ongoing promotions to maximize sales opportunities Maintain merchandising standards according to company guidelines Support inventory management through stocking and inventory checks Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment at all times Qualifications Previous retail sales experience preferred but not required Basic math skills necessary for retail math, cash handling, and POS transactions Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse customers Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving a broader customer base Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with excellent phone etiquette Flexibility to work during peak seasons with varying shifts as needed A positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role
