About Us Queen May is an established retail business located in the heart of Cape May, NJ. With over 10 years in business and a strong local and seasonal customer base, we are known for our curated selection of jewelry, luxury bags, accessories and watches. We are currently launching a new retail concept store in Cape May and are looking for motivated, detail-oriented sales associates to join the team from the ground up. Position Overview As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and elevated in-store experience. This is a customer-facing role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and an interest in fashion, lifestyle, and retail merchandising. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with clients Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor Assist with merchandising and restocking Process transactions accurately through POS system Support daily store operations and opening/closing procedures Contribute to a positive and team-oriented environment Qualifications Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment Interest in fashion, lifestyle, and curated retail Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays What We Offer Opportunity to be part of a new concept from the beginning Strong team environment within an established business Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Employee discount To Apply Please submit your resume and a short note about your interest in the role.
