In this lively role, you'll engage with customers, assist with food and product preparation, operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, and ensure every visitor leaves satisfied and eager to return. Whether you're passionate about food service, retail, or hospitality, this position offers a vibrant environment where your energy and enthusiasm make a real difference. You'll be part of a team that values teamwork, efficiency, and delivering exceptional service every day. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service in a fast-paced environment. Assist with food preparation, ensuring quality and safety standards are met at all times. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Upsell products and promote specials to enhance sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food prep areas, dining spaces, and retail sections. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Support food safety practices by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines. Restock shelves, prepare food items, and assist with bussing tables or cleaning as needed to keep the environment inviting. Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations across the café or retail store. Requirements Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key! Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or food items. Experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple responsibilities.
