We are now expanding our team and looking for responsible, customer-oriented Delivery Drivers to help us bring our dispensary experience directly to our customers' homes. Position Overview As a Delivery Driver at J & J Cannabis Dispensary LLC, you will be the face of our company outside of the store. You are responsible for safely and securely delivering cannabis products to customers in compliance with all New Jersey cannabis laws and company policies. You will ensure that each delivery is accurate, timely, and handled professionally, providing excellent customer service and maintaining strict confidentiality and security protocols. Key Responsibilities Delivery Operations Safely transport cannabis orders to customers in compliance with NJ-CRC regulations. Ensure timely delivery of products within assigned delivery windows. Verify customer identification and age at delivery location. Obtain required signatures and ensure accurate completion of delivery logs. Maintain proper handling and secure storage of cannabis during transit. Customer Service Represent J & J Cannabis with professionalism and courtesy during every customer interaction. Communicate with customers regarding estimated delivery times and updates. Provide information on basic product questions if asked, directing complex inquiries to in-store staff. Resolve minor customer issues or escalate as necessary to management. Compliance and Security Follow all state laws and company procedures for cannabis delivery. Accurately log each delivery using the company's tracking and POS systems. Maintain compliance with company vehicle protocols and safety checks. Follow all protocols related to product chain of custody and secure transport. Report any incidents, discrepancies, or delivery issues immediately to management. Technology and POS Systems Use company-approved devices for navigation, order tracking, and communication. Process delivery orders using COVA POS or other software in accordance with store policies. Maintain accurate digital and physical documentation of deliveries. Vehicle Maintenance Perform basic vehicle safety checks before and after shifts. Maintain a clean, presentable, and legally compliant vehicle. Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly. Other Duties Assist in in-store duties as needed, including order packaging or inventory tasks. Participate in training and team meetings. Support team with logistics, routes, and customer coordination. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications 21 years or older (per NJ-CRC regulations). Valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean driving record. Must possess or be able to obtain a state cannabis worker license (if applicable). Previous delivery experience preferred (cannabis industry experience a plus). Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills. Basic understanding of cannabis products and regulations (training provided). Ability to use GPS and mobile delivery/dispatch apps efficiently. Able to lift up to 50 lbs, sit for extended periods, and perform light physical tasks. Comfortable driving in various weather and traffic conditions.
