The Opportunity We are hiring an Outside In-Home Sales Representative to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will meet with homeowners directly in their homes, assess their roofing needs, present our solutions, and close deals. This is a high-activity, high-reward position with uncapped earning potential. Why We Are Looking for Veterans & Reserve Members We are actively seeking candidates who have served or are currently serving in the United States military or reserves. Military experience has given you skills that translate directly to success in sales: discipline, resilience, the ability to perform under pressure, and a genuine respect for the people you serve. You do not need prior sales experience — we will train you. What you cannot be trained to have is the character and work ethic that military service builds. Candidates with the following backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply: U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, or Space Force veterans National Guard members (active or former) Reserve component members (Active Reserve, Ready Reserve, etc.) Military spouses and dependents with a strong work ethic are also welcome to apply What You Will Do Conduct in-home appointments with homeowners to assess roofing damage and present solutions Run company-provided leads as well as self-generate leads through canvassing and referrals Perform roof inspections and walk homeowners through insurance claims when applicable Present proposals, overcome objections, and close contracts in the home Maintain accurate CRM notes and follow up with prospects throughout the sales cycle Collaborate with our production and project management teams to ensure a smooth handoff Represent Veterans Roofing with professionalism and integrity in every interaction What We Offer Competitive base pay + aggressive uncapped commission structure Company-provided leads — no cold calling into the dark Comprehensive paid training — no roofing or sales experience required Advancement opportunities into sales management and leadership A tight-knit, veteran-friendly team culture built on respect and results Flexible scheduling that accommodates drill weekends and reserve obligations Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to climb a ladder and conduct basic roof inspections (training provided) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Self-motivated with a high sense of accountability Comfortable working outdoors and in various weather conditions Smartphone proficiency for CRM and scheduling tools Must be authorized to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications Prior military service (any branch) — strongly preferred Experience in roofing, construction, or home improvement sales Familiarity with insurance restoration / storm damage claims process Prior in-home or outside B2C sales experience How to Apply Apply directly at www.veteransroofingnj.com/apply-here.
